Job Summary/Basic Function
Assist in all art gallery operations, including but not limited to: Exhibition prep, install and deinstall, art handling, layout design, facility organization and upkeep, painting and patching display walls, operating scissor lift, gallery lighting, visitor relations, tool handling, packing and unpacking of artwork, marketing material dissemination and installing artwork on campus.
Required Qualifications
Completion of at least 1 year of college classes. Ability to lift 30 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
B.A. or B.F.A. degree in Visual Art or Design.

Physical Requirements of this position
Light work. Exerting up to 20 lbs of force occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs of force frequently and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Use of arm and/or leg controls exerting forces greater than that for sedentary work.
Visual Acuity Requirements including color, depth perception and field of vision.
Required to have visual acuity to perform activities such as: operating machines, (i.e. lathes, drill presses, power saws) where the job is at or within arm’s reach; skilled trades tasks of a non-repetitive nature, such as carpenter, plumber, mechanic.
